I don't recall that being an issue before, but I found the wait time can be eliminated if I open up the hamburger menu when I have a book open in the iOS Kindle app and tapping Sync. The only thing that seemed a little funky was that it took several minutes after going to a page on my iPhone in the Kindle app for the Paperwhite and Fire 7 to recognize it.

After I got to the page, I went to the other two devices and it's syncing to the furthest page read now. Redownloaded the books from the cloud on each device.Īfter I did this, I tried going to a page on the Paperwhite, my iPhone and the Fire 7 using a different book for each test. I just figured it couldn't hurt to get all of my devices a fresh Wi-Fi connection. I have no idea if this part made any difference.

Toggled each device into airplane mode and then back out. For anyone who is having this issue, I found a solution that is working for me!ĭeleted all the books I'm currently reading from each device.
